New Varieties 2011 |

Calibrachoa Cabaret Deep Blue
A new addition to our Popular range of Calibrachoa this Deep Blue is the ‘truest ‘ blue to date. As with all our Cabaret and Can Can varieties the deep blue has a much high tolerance to High Ph. So if you are in a hard water area this one will do well for you without the foliage yellowing half way through the summer. |
Ten top quality varieties are added to the Starter Plant range offering the very best of the seasons new introductions |
Begonia Glowing Embers
An award winning British Bred Begonia has excellent long lasting garden performance, flowering from early summer right through until the first frosts. This compact dark foliage begonia carries masses of single orange flowers with a yellow eye that simply glows against the foliage. Best used in Containers and the garden. |
Begonia tuberous SuperCascade Apricot Shades
Another variety from the new generation of cascading begonia. With the same flower size and free flowering habit as the White and Pink Bicolour but in shades of Apricot ranging from Creamy Yellow to Orange all with darker markings at the petal edge. |
Begonia tuberous SuperCascade Pink and White Bicolour
A superior performance with strong cascading plant habit bearing very large double and semi double flowers 6-8cm across, extremely free flowering. Pink and White Bicolour has large White petals each edged in pink, a very Showy variety. |
Calibrachoa Can Can Terracotta
Another excellent new Calibrachoa in shades of Terracotta, although the colouring may be variable this only serves to increase its appeal. Has the same Ph tolerance as the Deep Blue above, why not try them planted together. |
Nemesia Aromatica Scarlet
An unusual colour in this type of Nemesia, continuous flowering throughout the summer, compact plants are well suited to mixed container planting or for growing in pots on their own. Great partner for the Aromatica Deep Blue. |
Osteospermum Voltage Yellow
A wonderful plant for Containers and the Garden, ‘the earliest Yellow flowering Osteospermum’ continues to flower all summer long and well into the Autumn. Habit is spreading and the foliage is a very clean bright green. Makes good annual ground cover. |
Petunia Tumbelina Inga
The Petunia Tumbelina Range is well established as the best double petunia having a ‘Ball’ habit when grown in a basket, which becomes covered in flowers all summer long. Inga is the first Red Tumbelina. Flowers have a slightly darker veining which serves to enhancing the overall effect. Very effective when grown along side the ever popular Tumbelina Priscilla. |
Verbena Aztec Blue
The first Blue in our well matched Aztec Verbena range, an excellent colour for combining with many of the existing Aztec varieties, try two or three colours together to create a designer mix effect. |

Strawberry Roman
An excellent Strawberry with Pink flowers. Like our existing strawberry ‘Elan’ Roman is an ‘everbearer’ which simply means it continues to crop right through the summer. The fruits are large, conical in shape and very tasty. When grown in a basket do not plant to many as they need a good root run to perform to their potential. Water and feed regularly. |
